VGCET Awards & Recognitions: The following awards are presented annually by VGCET: the “Emerging College of the Year Award” in four categories: Placement, Research, Infrastructure, and Academics; the “Academic Department of the Year Award” for academic programmes within educational institutions; the “Principal of the Year” for high school principals; the “VGCET Research Excellence Award / Young Achiever & Researcher Award” for academics, researchers, and professionals in the field whose work has been published in international.
The VGCET Teachers Award is a tribute to the dedicated educators working in India’s higher education institutions for their outstanding and consistent teaching. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge and reward educators who inspire their pupils to pursue professions in STEM fields via instruction, coaching, and mentorship. The scope of this prize encompasses the whole scientific and technological community, including the medical and engineering fields.
- The recipients of the REA, YRA, and YAA awards will each get a physical copy of the certificate that states the title of their individual awards, as well as a memento that includes the names of the recipients and information of their research papers.

- Recipients must be exceptional educators who have taught at the undergraduate or graduate level for at least fifteen years in a college, university, or other institution in India, and who are now or have previously worked in the country.
- The recipient must be no more than 55 years old as of the end of the calendar year prior to the award year.
- In no more than three separate instances may the person be nominated.
